Company Description

The Wave Clinic is a luxury residential program located in Kajang. Our programs are dedicated to adolescent behavioural health, including specialist eating disorder treatments. Our individualised medium to long term programs are designed to help each client achieve in every area of their lives, with vocational, academic and alternative routes into tertiary education. We have a resident psychiatric team, child and adolescent psychiatrist, and nursing team.

Â Role Description

This Education Specialist role is a full-time on-site role at The Wave Clinic. Luxury Residential Programs for Teenagers and Young Adults located in Kajang. The Education Specialist is responsible for providing educational support and guidance to young adults during their stay. This involves conducting assessments and creating individualized education plans in collaboration with clinical and support staff. Additionally, the Education Specialist will work with clients to develop study skills and motivation, and provide academic support and tutoring as needed.

Â Qualifications

Â A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or a related field
Experience working with adolescents or young adults in a clinical or educational setting
Strong understanding of learning differences and ability to create targeted strategies to support their success
Experience with academic support or tutoring for learners with diverse needs and abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with clinical and support staff
Passion for education and supporting young adult learners
