    Summary

    General Duties

    To drive all sales activities and implement the annual sales plan in order to achieve and exceed hotel revenue targets and maximize hotel room's yield. You will actively promote the hotel, contract new business and optimize revenues for the property whilst maintaining great relationships with corporate clients, gather market intelligence and monitor competitor activities.

    Management Responsibilities

    2.Delegate appropriate responsibility to others based on their ability whilst ensuring they have sufficient authority and resources.

    3.Achieve a record of success in recruiting, interviewing and hiring people. ("Getting the right person in the right job").

    4.Communicate the vision and brand personality to the team and ensure it is integrated in the department's business practices.

    5.Actively and successfully train people for current assignments and future growth.

    6.Set and communicate high performance standards.

    7.Recognize outstanding individual performance in the department and deal with substandard performance fairly, immediately and constructively.

    8.Ensure all team members under your supervision are scheduled in accordance with business needs.

    Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for initiating all revenue from Corporate, Government, Embassy, and other market segments to the hotel.
  • Responsible for cultivating productive relationships with Key Accounts and Key Prospects in these markets.
  • Maintain an effective tracing system, monitor production all of accounts and discuss appropriate action with Director of Sales & Marketing.
  • Responsible in continually developing business markets and capturing new ones.
  • Submit to Director of Sales & Marketing on a weekly basis, a weekly call plan including sales call objective, sales expenses,etc
  • Totally sell all aspect of hotels operation i.e. rooms, function, groups and banqueting
  • Maintain a regular sales call pattern i.e. minimum 10 face to face calls per week.
  • Attend to relevant correspondence, filing and general administrative function as they arise
  • Travel to national and international sales events, as and when it is required
  • Conduct hotel inspection and regularly entertain present and potential accounts/sources of business.
  • Attend any relevant function and promotions and any in-house function as required
  • Attend and contribute to Sales & Marketing meetings.
  • Assist as required with telemarketing projects / "Blitz's"
  • Ensure Hotel System, sales database and account information is always current and up to date.
  • Financial Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of the annual business plan for the department.
  • Monitor the department's budget and proactively implement corrective action where necessary.
  • Control cost whilst ensuring quality and standards are not compromised.
  • Communication

  • Communicate effectively within the organization at all levels using the most appropriate communication method for the matter concerned.

  • Qualifications

    Recruitment Criteria

    1.Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management or equivalent

    2.Experience in similar position or one position lower

    3.Possesses people skills by approaching challenges / mistakes in a professional and objective manner

    4.Possesses relevant administrative skills

    5.Has a confident personality
