    PayU, an online payment service provider and Naspers' fintech arm, acquired Wibmo in Apr 2019 to help the company scale-up its business.

    Under the agreement, PayU and Wibmo businesses will continue to run separately.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Crafting and implementing go to market strategies for payment related products
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the payment industry (issuing and acquiring side);
    • Knowledge in Payment security products – 3D Secure with Risk Based Authentication (RBA) would be a distinct advantage
    • Targeting large banks (issuers) and fintech space
    • Manage Existing Accounts within the region, responsible for Cross Sell and Up Sell within existing accounts
    • Co-ordinate between the customer/prospect and internal teams for RFI/RFP's and contract closure
    • Co-ordinating with marketing to lead marketing campaigns and lead generation events in the region
    • Understanding of the Mobile Payments space. Capturing the Mobile Payments and generic payment trends in the market and feeding the same to the product teams for product enhancements
    • Develop a strong understanding of payment industry processes and Provide direction within the company on such initiatives

    The Experience:


    • Should be from Mobile Payments or Payment security Sales background and should have managed large deals
    • Deep expertise in building generating pipelines and hunting for new business/logos
    • Should have good network with key influencers in the bank for the region Education:
    • Graduate with 15+ years' experience selling in the region to large issuers What you get to do:

    • Build and manage a sales organization, which can include channel partnerships
