Job Responsibilities

Guide and coordinate with all subsidiaries local and abroad on sustainability reporting for Berjaya Corporation Berhad and Berjaya Land Berhad.
Lead the sustainability team to collect, compile and process data from the subsidiaries.
Liaise with consultant in producing Sustainability Statements.
Coordinate and prepare for annual verification process for the Statement of Assurance.
Formulate plans and strategies on ESG roadmaps and targets such as carbon footprint reduction, etc.
Identify ESG risks for Risk Management Committee.
Monitor, update and report latest ESG trends, standards and Bursa Malaysia requirements.
Execute CSR/ESG-related campaigns with Corporate Communications team.
Prepare reports and meeting minutes for Sustainability Committee at Board Level.

Requirements

Degree in Environmental Science/ESG-related fields.
Minimum 5-year experience in sustainability/ESG reporting.
Familiar with ESG frameworks and guidelines such as Bursa Malaysia Sustainability Reporting Guide, GRI, TCFD and IFRS.
Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel.
Team player with good communication skills.
Innovative, strategic and analytic thinking.
Strong command of written and spoken English.
