    Forensic Accountant

    Forensic Accounting Services (FAS) specialises in the quantification of business interruption and financial losses. We regularly partner with global insurers, re-insurers and captives to assist in settling insurance claims. Our experts are regularly engaged by the legal profession to assist in a wide range of contentious matters and disputes.

    Working with some of the forensic accounting industry's most experienced professionals, you will analyse business interruption and stock claims, conduct investigative accounting, and work on litigation support cases. You will grow your career as you help grow the business.

    Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Carry out basic relevant research to add value to the matter being worked on
  • Request for information required for loss assessments
  • Attend meetings / calls when requested
  • Making accurate notes from meetings / calls
  • Review and investigate financial information
  • Prepare analysis and loss calculation schedule packs
  • Write letters / reports
  • Ensures that paper and electronic files are well-organized at all times
  • Work with senior accountants / adjusters on status updates
  • Participate in business development activities
  • Any such reasonable duties within the general scope
  • Ensure compliance with operational, CR and H&S procedures and policies, and respond appropriately when required.
  • Minimum Requirements of this role:

  • Holds professional accountancy certification (minimum CIMA, ACCA, CPA or ACA);
  • 3+ years of experience in investigation or risk consulting industry;
  • Advanced MS Excel skills;
  • Possess critical thinking, investigative flexibility and analytical abilities skills;
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written;
  • Foreign language advantages;
  • Be a team player.
