Job Responsibilities

• Talent build up, resource planning and develop project plans to support business priorities.
• Steer the direction and implement the roadmap of the advanced analytics discipline.
• Develop theory & practical technical skill in advanced programming (data science) and predictive modeling.
• Collaborate the data science initiatives for strategic partnerships.
• Provide marketing propensity model development advisory to business request.
• Deliver strategic level cross functional complex analysis.
• Ensure quality deliverables within stipulated timeline for tracking of franchise building strategic initiatives, regulatory compliance, BAU business momentum and operational monitoring progress.
• Participate and contribute subject matter expertise in data extraction, segmentation and MIS reporting as per requirement.
• Build universal knowledge base to support operational proficiency, revenue generation and cost reduction.
• Ensure ongoing process simplification, cross-functional process streamlining and risk control process in place and comply to bank internal requirement for business continuity.
• Establish and drive process improvement and technology enablement in the area of productivity and data security.
• Institutionalize data enrichment, data standard and data quality check to drive quality deliverables.
• Drive Decision Management Advanced Analytics talent development plan to groom expertise in overall advanced analytics discipline (build along the staff career progression roadmap for proactive retention strategy).
• Expand additional role of data engineer (building robust data pipelines) and a subset of data scientist (explore machine learning algorithms).
• Expand Pillar 2 of Analytics Capabilities Framework with advanced programming (Python) / basic machine learning algorithms.
• Incorporate unstructured data sources and exposure to Big Data tools.

• Full understanding of the Business Intelligence solution suites to craft best in class information delivery platform
• Relational database management
• Business intelligence exploratory and visualization capabilities
• Data warehouse technical architecture
• Analytical, logical, strategic thinking and excellent executor

2. Experience

• Experience in technical and business analytics environment of at least 8 to 12 years
• Experience in banking operations, banking systems, MIS system management and database marketing
• Awareness of Corporate/ Commercial, SME, Consumer and/or Investment Banking products and market trends
• Awareness of Customer Segment, Channel and Transactional behavior
