- Lead development and expansion of IWM's AUM, customer base and connectivity.
- Develop IMW strategies to provide and deliver holistic proposition and solutions to customers.
- Responsible for preparation of product approvals to approving parties i.e. Shariah Committee, PVPSC, PVPC, BARMC, BOD & BNM.
- Develop and launch innovative, digital and sustainable IWM products, services and advisories.
- Solicit, originate and recommend best wealth investments and/ or venture activities including strategic collaboration and partnership initiatives.
- Build and manage IWM internal competencies (people, operations and systems)
- Enhance the operational procedures and controls of IWM products manuals and guidelines to ensure compliance with Shariah regulators and internal requirements.
- Lead periodic performance review and recommend tactical enhancements.
- Ensure that the policies are updated annually and align to the Islamic regulations.
- Continuously guide and motivate team members in overall IWM and IA product management.
- Recruit, coach and manage retention within the team.
- Drive IWM and IA strategy and implementation for short to long term horizon.
- Build IWM and IA product synergy with relevant business units as means for cross-selling and proposition integration.
- Malaysian Citizen
- Undergraduate degree in business, finance or related discipline or equivalent or has demonstrated multiyear leadership success within the wealth business
- A post graduate tertiary or a professional certification is a plus.
- At least 10 years' experience in financial institutions with minimum 5 years of exposure in wealth/investment management field.
- Strong track record in spearheading and executing initiatives and concepts, running a salesforce productively and of responsible sales process with customers.
- Experience of Islamic wealth segment in Malaysia including strong understanding of the Islamic regulations and policies and networking capabilities.
- Prior exposure in building IWM ecosystem is an added advantage.
