    Job Description

    • Lead and improve product quality and process efficiency via systematic methodologies such as TPM and lean 6 sigma to achieve optimum operation excellence.
    • Assigned areas for improvement includes but are not limited to assembly and test, workflow and WIP transaction, capacity analysis, line balancing, space and layout optimization, rework and scrap reduction, tooling re-design as well as continuous quality improvement.
    • Maintain and update bill of materials, ERP attributes, piece part/tooling/assembly drawings, operating instructions, and shop floor control systems.
    • Streamline and standardize manufacturing processes to improve yield, cycle time and ultimately product gross margin within ISO standard boundary.
    • Assisting NPI project lead, work cross functionally with R&D, Marketing, Planning, Procurement and Production to launch new products according to POR.
    • Collaborate with peers such as Production Manager/Supervisor and Quality Engineers to improve training effectiveness as part of the effort to continuously enhance staff competency level.
    • Carry out any other assignments as and when requested by the Management to meet business objectives.

    Job Qualifications

    • Minimum bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, mechatronic or industrial engineering
    • Master's degree is preferred.
    • Versatile in 3D modelling, 2D annotation and GD&T. Experienced in Siemens NX and Teamcenter is advantageous.
    • Well versed in FMEA, SPC, DMAIC and quality tools.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal and project management skills.
    • Ability to lead and drive cross functionally to achieve organizational objectives based on customer needs and changing business environment.
    • Familiar with BMS, QMS and ISO standards
    • Proactive, self-driven professional who is motivated to resolve complex engineering or business problems.
