Position Summary:

The Raw Material Planner will be responsible for the timely and effective planning of raw materials in support of the company's sales objectives. To achieve this goal, the position will use the company's planning and execution software systems and other software tools to generate purchase orders, maintain adequate levels of inventory, monitor and track supply orders to fulfillment, and otherwise ensure that the company's supply plans are met on time and in the desired quantities.

Essential Job Functions:

• Elaborate Weekly/monthly/annual supply plans for FG and RM and assure that Purchase orders are placed accordingly; Generate shipping instruction to international logistics team. Assure that orders are being picked up and follow up the arrival to country; Confirm purchase orders with local vendors including delivery date, quantity, unit of measure, etc.
• Build good work relationship with vendors and others cross functional team members; Check for potential stock-outs due to purchasing delivery delay; Ensure timely goods delivery; Control of inventory in (production) and out (sales); Keep the digital and physical files of POD.
• PGI of orders, create Remitos, releases forms and COT; Take immediate action to ensure material availability by expediting PO and expediting for earlier delivery when necessary.
• Work closely with warehouse operators to ensure smooth transaction processing and execution; Perform periodic stock-takes of all company-owned materials, reconciling variances, and inputting data associated with various warehouse locations throughout Pune; Facilitate proper record keeping and compliance to local regulations for documents associated with arriving and departing shipments; Maintain storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements.
• Intimation to the Marketing department of the departure of the vehicle from the factory and vehicle details; To ensure vehicles company owned or contracted are adhering to the RTO rules & regulations and safety norms specified by the company, as well as recipient customer plants for safety norms; Vehicle Fitness Certificate, PUC (Pollution Under Control), Road Permit & Tax and Insurance are all up-to-date and excel sheet with reminders to be prepared for each and every vehicle to the above requisite compliances. Handling & Coordination with domestic courier process on daily basis for on time delivery.
• Facilitate proper inventory record keeping and reporting of inventory from all stocking locations. Coordinate logistics & transportation of finished goods, raw materials and promotional items between suppliers, manufacturers, and customers for India; Shipping documents verification and preparation – invoices, packing Lists
• Receive, organize, and manage data entry in SAP (sales orders, stock transfers, to support demand fulfillment in support of company sales objectives and keep close contact with customers to monitor their FG inventory levels and depletions with support of planning team.

Essential Job Functions:

• Bachelor in Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related
• More than 5 years of experience in Inventory Management, Planning or, Supply Chain
• More than 5 years of experience Sales and Operations on demand forecasting and machine capacity
• Advanced in Microsoft Office
• ERP Software Experience (SAP Preferred), Strong understanding of MRP, S&OP
• Fluent in English
