    Description

    The No 1 hotel in town is seeking an experience with a proven track record, a positive and goal-driven Senior Sales Manager focusing on the corporate market to join our dynamic team.

    This position focuses on analyzing local market trends and competitor activity and recommending strategies to the management to maintain the hotel as a leader in the marketplace through the development of future and repeat business. This role will also require some leadership skills to assist in managing and training the sales team.

    Successful candidates are required to have sound product knowledge of Hotel Property and an understanding of the Industrial coverage assigned to them. Able to develop customer accounts and travel within the local area to drive business into the specific hotel/cluster and to increase market/customer share in all revenue streams.

    A top-notch Senior Sales Manager should be able to negotiate room rates/ events packages with corporate/ hotel clients. Participate and contribute ideas to develop and implement creative/ impactful sales strategies in local marketing channels, including social media channels, and closely monitors revenue and the development of new accounts, accurate tracing of accounts, and proper handling of sales procedures and inquiries.
