    Description

    Role Summary

    The Business Development Manager will be responsible for business development and account management within Malaysia. They will champion the 'TGT Diagnostics' brand, connecting customer challenges and opportunities with TGT diagnostic products and develop and execute an effective market strategy and tactics to deliver exceptional business growth.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Expand the TGT Diagnostics business within the assigned market.
    • Market strategy, business development, sales and account management.
    • Develop and maintain close customer and stakeholder relationships at all appropriate levels in all asset teams and departments.
    • Develop and leverage a complete understanding of customer business needs, operational challenges and opportunities to align with TGT capabilities.
    • Develop and exhibit an advanced working knowledge of the TGT brand and our diagnostic systems.
    • Maintain advanced and current knowledge of competitor strengths and weaknesses, including diagnostic capabilities.
    • Identify, develop and deliver profitable growth opportunities.
    • Ensure compliance with the TGT code of conduct and HSE regulations.
    • Maintain sales forecast and opportunity management using 'Salesforce' and coordinate as required with other business units.
    • Liaise with customers and the TGT communications team to deliver case studies for articles and other purposes.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognised institute or university, preferably in Engineering or Business Administration.
    • Strong ambition to develop a career towards senior business management or global sales or marketing roles.
    • An insatiable appetite to communicate regularly with customers to connect customer needs with TGT solutions.
    • More than 10 years' oilfield services experience, preferably within cased hole flow and/or integrity diagnostics or a related sector.
    • More than 5 years of experience in oilfield sales and account management, preferably within the cased hole diagnostics sector.
    • Technical knowledge of various diagnostic techniques and technology used to evaluate flow and/or integrity throughout the well system.
    • Proactive, ambitious, energetic and tenacious.
    • Working knowledge of the 'Salesforce' CRM platform.
    • Fluency in English and Malay
