    Responsibilities:

  • Lead client coverage activities including deal origination and execution as the Global Relationship Manager from assigned client portfolio. Actively coordinate and work in partnership with stakeholders, incl credit analysts, credit approvers, client services to proactively manage credit risk of clients and attend to clients' service/operational requirements.
  • Lead cross-sell discussions alongside product partners in TB, GM, DCM and AIBD to deliver the right solutions to our clients.
  • Lead annual account planning process and design appropriate relationship plans to generate new business throughout-marketing calls, promotions and presentations.
  • Ensure timely submission of credit proposals, deal presentation slides and manage the credit process and turnaround time.
  • Lead client meetings and prepare marketing materials for existing clients and prospective clients including assessing impact on risk/return to the bank on transaction and overall relationship level.
  • Liaise with other departments including Product Office / Credit / Credit Admin / Operations at branch level and at head office.
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist to open new accounts including new credit/market facilities for clients and maintain necessary documents for all operations and maintain effective relationships with clients.
  • Administer all work and ensure compliance to all guidelines, sales process and standards to ensure effective inspections.
  • Own and monitor account plans and ensure achievement of product mix for all relationships with customers.
  • Analyse clients' requirements and manage all client communication for customers and prepare required documentation.
  • Work with stakeholders such as assistant relationship manager or credit analysts in credit portfolio management including monitoring utilization of facilities and assist to track covenants, financial statements submissions, call visits, AML monitoring, KYC reviews and all other approval conditions to be fulfilled.
  • Maintain knowledge on all bank products, credit standards, services and trends and provide efficient customer services.
  • Contribute ideas and suggestions for the betterment of the bank.
  • Requirements:

  • Applicant must have a recognized Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or its equivalent from a recognized university/higher learning institution.
  • Possess good working aptitude and strong interest in financial markets and banking industry.
  • Having good communication and inter-personal skills in dealing with internal and external customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong PC skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • A proactive team player who is meticulous, able to a multi-task and detail oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of management.
