As a Senior Research & Development Engineer, you will play a key role in driving innovation and product development initiatives. To research, create and develop innovative, reliable and sellable products at right cost, within project schedule.

Job Requirement:

Responsibilities:

• Working with Senior to research and provide product strategy to the whole group.

1. Oversee compliance testing and certification processes to ensure products meet regulatory standards and customer requirements.

• Responsible for maintenance and improvement of the current R&D system, monitor and overseeing the entire product development process.
• Keep track of all the costing related to the product development and provide departmental budget and update regularly or schedule.
• Explore and provide new know-how and technology / technical consultancy / advisory to the whole group.
• Cross Collaborate with all team member (marketing, sales, operation, purchasing...)
• Approval of all the relevant engineering documentations (Engineering Drawing, Technical specifications, Assembly method, Product Costing, Testing methodology, Test report).
• Understand regulatory compliances and risk management on product design.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or relevant field of education.
• At least 2-3 years of related working experience in research and development, product management, or product design roles
• Must have knowledge and skills in product design and development. Heat transfer, plastic injection will be an advantage.
• General understanding of Electronic / Electrical work (if background is from Mechanical)
• Strong Independent and able to work in a team.
• Good time management skills.
• Working in a cross-functional team environment, with a demonstrated ability to influence and drive consensus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in companies in the water purifier industry.
