    We are now looking for a Project Engineer. As the Technical project engineer, you will hold a key role within the project function. A fast paced, exciting, and growing company. We need you to help deliver IT Projects.

    It is the Technical Project Engineer's responsibility to ensure all items detailed within the Project Initiation Document are delivered and ensure timely communication with all customer contacts during the whole IT Project Lifecycle.

    It is the role of the Technical Project Engineer to challenge the Project Initiation Document in the early stages to make sure they understand the processes and what's to be delivered. Once this is all agreed, it is the Technical Project Engineer's responsibility to deliver the items agreed on the document.

    Responsibilities

    • To deliver an outstanding service to our clients. This is achieved by caring, by owning the issues and taking responsibility for resolution

    • You will be responsible for the technical delivery of IT Projects for customers within a Managed Service Provider Environment.
    • You will be required to be the Lead Technical Contact on Projects that need delivering, ensuring that all EKCO's standards are upheld throughout the process.
    • Documenting the Project Delivery process within EKCO's Document Management System – Compass - and adhering to any additional best practise for 3rd party solutions.
    • Giving a clear and concise handover to the Service Desk to aim in the seamless transition for the customer from the Project Team to a Full Managed Support Service.
    • Within this ever-evolving IT Landscape, there is a need for the Technical Project Engineer to learn new processes, procedures and best practise. We also expect our Engineers to keep up with the latest technologies and will offer assistance / direction with training to help keep you above the curve.

    Role Requirements

    • 5+ years of relevant experience
    • Computer Science or similar qualification.
    • Experience delivering IT Projects within a Managed Service Provider Environment (Desirable)
    • Networking concepts / understanding of networking protocols
    • Security technologies, implementing Security Best Practises.
    • Knowledge with troubleshooting Microsoft and 3rd party systems – specifically Migration
    • Knowledge and experience in the use of the Microsoft 365 landscape, including Exchange, Sharepoint, Azure
    • Experience with On-Premise Infrastructure to Cloud Migrations
