    This SharePoint Administrator role is to administer and maintain the SharePoint Enterprise Environment to support Donaldson's usage by all global employees. The role will support the technical side of any future migrations to the next version(s) and work with senior members of the team and the Business Analysts and Developers to execute these migrations. This role will take direction from more senior members of the team to support the business organization.

    Responsibilities:

  • Administration, maintenance, and monitoring of all environments
  • Document and follow company procedures and standards, and leading practices including environment and application configuration, architecture, support, taxonomies, and naming standards.
  • Analyze and resolve issues related to application, windows server, SQL, and related technologies.
  • Strong task management, customer contact, and task prioritization skills are required
  • Requires knowledge & experience in SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2019, or previous versions
  • Performs routine and difficult duties and tasks that need guided judgment, to implement various business systems and technologies to meet company's strategic objectives.
  • Solves a range of straightforward to medium complexity problems; analyzes possible solutions using standard practices.
  • Limited outside of working hours meetings to collaborate with the global team and support the business.
  • Qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in supporting SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2019 or prior versions.
  • Technical Competence & Skills

  • MinimumFamiliarity of all and proficient in some of Event Viewer, Performance Monitor, SharePoint Logs, PowerShell, IIS, SharePoint Designer, Active Directory, DNS, SMTP, Microsoft SQL, InfoPath, Power Apps, Azure, and Office 365Ability to work with IT and business leaders to architect sites, search, and other functionality in SharePoint Online that meet business requirements.The ability to take direction on multiple priorities while meeting deadlinesProblem solver: Likes technical challenges and proposes alternative customer-oriented solutions.Self-learner; Likes to keep ahead of things and being pro-active.Team player; Likes working in an international team; Good communication skills
  • DesiredPrior use of tools such as Sharegate and PowerShellAwareness to familiarity of Yammer, Teams, Planner, Power BI, Sway, One Drive, Staff Hub, Forms, Stream, Video Portal, Delve, To-Do & other Microsoft cloud technologies.
