- Involved in the full cycle of payroll processing for Singapore and Hong Kong. Payroll processing for other countries could also be assigned.
- Consolidating payroll templates
- Prepare and maintain monthly payroll schedules
- Compute commission per compensation plan for Singapore, Japan, China, and other countries as assigned.
- Validate monthly payroll submissions ensuring accurate and timely processing in compliance with local legislation and corporate policy
- Liaise with HR, Tax Consultant and Corporate to ensure expatriate tax matters are compliant with established policies and procedures
- Identify and recommend improvements to payroll related work processes
- CPF submission
- Process payroll applications for government rebates/reimbursement
- MPF submission
- Prepare applications for government such as IR56E/F/G
- Submission of AIA forms to AIA when there is new hire or resignee.
- Assist in the completion of annual income & tax filings within stipulated timelines
- Prepare documentation and reconciliations for external audit
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all associate payroll records.
- Prepare monthly payroll information and reporting to Corporate
- Responsible for monthly headcount reconciliation & payroll report to FP&A team for Forecast/Budget
- Ad-hoc payroll reporting to HR
- Attend to payroll enquiries from associates, internal & external stakeholders
- Raise payroll journals for upload to financial accounting system
- Prepare Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reconciliation for payroll related accounts
- Prepare monthly payroll accruals such as Commission, Annual Leave etc.
- Run the commission report from Cognos for Singapore, Japan and China.
- Diploma in Accounting with more than 3 years of payroll experience
- Work experience in accounting would be advantageous
- Good understanding of the CPF, government claim processes and Employment Act compliance
- Good Excel skills
- Good communication skills
- Excellent team player
- Meticulous and organized with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines
