- Responsible for developing, modifying and/or maintaining chatbot applications. Chatbot engineers code, test, debug and document chatbot applications.
- 1-4 + years of relevant experience in chatbots and natural language processing.
- Good understanding of training classical Machine learning algorithms along with an understanding of choosing the right evaluation metric.
- Ability to use pretrained models and fine tune them if required.
- Experience with REST APIs and other web services.
- Experience with AJAX, jQUERY.
- Perform keyword and topic extraction from chat logs.
- Should have prior understanding or working experience with voice based apps.
- Solid knowledge of training and tuning topic modelling algorithms like LDA and NMF.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Ability to learn latest technologies.
- Good problem-solving ability.
- Experience in working with any AI/NLP platform (DialogFlow/ Alexa/ Amazon Lex etc.) for building chatbots Experience with any one of the technologies (JavaScript, or Python).
- Understanding of conversational UI, voiced based processing (text to speech, speech to text) and voice apps built on Amazon Alexa or Google Home is a plus.
- Experience in Test Driven Development & Agile methodologies.
- Hands on experience of using frameworks like nltk and spacy.
- Experience with configuring, support and integrating various software systems, APIs, etc.
