Job Description

• Assist Regional Financial Controller in managing the full spectrum of accounts functions including financial, statutory, treasury and tax reporting.
• Formulate robust financial controls framework through regular review, updating and maintenance of financial policies, systems and procedures.
• Monthly review of entities month-end reports. Assist local finance team to resolve system and reconciliation issues.
• Managed financial master data to ensure alignment with the reporting requirement.
• Ensure integrity of data, systems as well as financial and management reporting in compliance with local and international accounting standards
• Prepares periodic compliance reporting dashboard and analysis with summarised commentaries.
• Work closely with global HQ, shared service centre and local finance team on continuous improvement initiatives and sharing of best practices.
• Provides guidance to the finance team, and updates regional finance training materials.
• Assist in annual transfer price setting and material costing analysis.
• Perform any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.

The Successful Applicant

• Degree in Accountancy or related field and/or any professional qualification in a related field (e.g. ACCA, CIMA)
• Minimum 5-7 years of related finance work experience with relevant working experience, preferably work in an audit environment & commercial
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and a solid understanding of IFRS.
• Strong analytical skills and concern for quality.
• Proficient in SAP, Hyperion and MS Excel.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Able to work efficiently in a highly digitalized environment.
