    Reservoir / Senior Reservoir Engineer (Years of Experience:

    Job Purpose

    Responsible for initiating and executing all reservoir engineering aspects of the assigned projects(s) on time and on budget.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Establish reservoir engineering descriptions for all assigned sub-surface assets and projects.
    • Perform classical Reservoir Engineering calculations as required including PVT analysis, SCAL, Material Balance and well modelling to quantify and justify opportunities.
    • Conduct detailed technical evaluations of pressure, production data, DSTs and fluid contacts in individual reservoir system utilizing all available data.
    • Build reservoir simulation models as required and conduct reservoir simulation studies (History matching and prediction sensitivities) to optimized asset values. Experience with relevant software is a must (i.e. TNav, Petrel, Eclipse).
    • Conduct Full Field Reviews as required. Identify and justify opportunities to maximize assets' value.
    • Develop Field Development Plan/Field Re-development Plan for project(s) assigned. Integrate input from other disciplines to ensure FDP(s) are comprehensive and addresses identified risks and uncertainties.
    • Involved in all aspects of asset management such as prospect evaluation, appraisal programs, field development, simulation and reservoir studies, economic evaluations, drilling programs and reservoir management.
    • Responsible for all Technical reviews with partner(s) and host county authorities and secure approval in timely manner.
    • Develop well production and deliverability profiles for different field production scenarios using industry standard well inflow and tubing performance analysis software (GAP/PROSPER/MBAL).
    • Establish and maintain technical database of all reservoir properties and performance data in conjunction with FDPs' & FFRs', all history matching and predictions simulation runs.
    • Provide management support information for the compilation of regular progress reports, project status, reserves, and development option reviews.
    • Lead and mentor junior engineers.

    Stakeholder Management

    • Coordinate work with all members within subsurface team (geologist, geophysicist, petrophysicist, and team manager)
    • Coordinate with all disciplines of the project team members in Production Operations, Field Development, Drilling, Planning and Commercial departments.
    • Maintained good relationship with personnel in the office, partner(s) and regulatory authorities (Petronas).

    Qualification(s)

    • Degree Petroleum Engineering or similar engineering discipline
    • Minimum of 5 years in upstream oil and gas industry.
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience in reserves evaluation, field development planning and execution, simulation modelling and production surveillance.
    • Computing skills, Eclipse 100, Eclipse Office, TNav, Petrel, Saphir, GAP, Prosper, MBAL, Microsoft Office.
    • Self-motivator and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Team player and able to work well with others
    • Fluent in English-written and spoken.
