Corporate Lawyer - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - Azeus Systems Limited

Azeus Group of companies, including Azeus Systems Limited, an SGX listed IT services provider delivering world-class digital government and enterprise solutions, is seeking an experienced Corporate Lawyer who will be working on an international scale, addressing legal duties across Azeus offices worldwide.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Corporate matters such as incorporating new companies, annual filing for the different entities under the Group
• Conducting internal due diligence on corporate matters within Azeus offices
• Assisting in labor and employment matters, including drafting and revising employment contracts and sales commission agreements
• Handling data protection matters in line with applicable laws and regulations
• Managing trademarks and intellectual property issues, ensuring compliance and protection within the corporate legal framework
• Addressing any other company legal or contract matters as assigned, including customer contracts

Your profile:

• Having attained a degree or graduated in the field of law
• Minimum of 2-3 years of corporate law experience, preferably with experience in HR, labour, and employment law
• Experience in working with overseas legislations/customers or possessing international experience is preferred
• Experience in handling data protection and intellectual property matters is an advantage
• Good drafting and negotiation skills for contracts and agreements
• Experience in working in IT industry is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
