    Job Description

  • Report to immediate superior & Department Head.
  • Interact with R&D, engineering, quality and product management groups in executing product development program plans.
  • To characterize, quantify and optimize electrical and RF frequency performance of RF devices and components.
  • Prepare analysis and simulation reports, develop presentations, write test plans and perform evaluation.
  • Ensure radio frequency devices are designed and functions according to specifications.
  • Provide technical support in installation, operation, maintenance and repair of radio frequency devices and systems.
  • Evaluate, compile and manage test results in relation to design, specifications and test objectives.
  • Provide solutions to technical problems associated with Radio frequency engineering products.
  • Perform process capability studies, DOE and Failure Analysis to improve on chronic rejects.
  • Collaborate with test engineering and operations in support of production.
  • Ensuring RF test equipment is calibrated to industry standards.
  • Support continuous improvement program and excursions that may happen from time to time
  • Establish training material and provide training whenever necessary.
  • Design and develop new jig and fixture for new product and process improvement.
  • Cost reduction through alternate material or manufacturing processes.
  • Assist in product costing and quotation preparation.
  • Technical support and training to others.
  • Maintain good house keeping and 5's.
  • Maintain consistent application of company policies, procedures and shop floor rules.
  • Adhere to all application Occupational Safety and health laws and regulation as will as such standards, practices and procedures instituted by the Company.
  • Any other responsibility which may be assigned form time to time by Department Head.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or a similar field.
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience in RF/MW device design and testing industry.
  • Knowledge in Radio Frequency (RF) / Microwave is required
  • Proficient in RF and microwave test equipment such as Vector Network Analyzer
  • Analytical, knowledgeable, and meticulous with the ability to handle multiple projects in parallel.
  • Good troubleshooting skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
