- Functional (job responsibilities)
- Managing data-driven projects from conception to completion, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budgets and meet the desired goals and objectives
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the team to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to deliver high-quality solutions
- Working closely with stakeholders and decision-makers to understand the business requirements and develop data-driven solutions that address those needs
- Analyzing large and complex datasets, applying statistical and machine learning methods to extract meaningful insights and develop predictive models
- Creating clear and compelling data visualizations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to the stakeholders and decision-makers
- Key Requirements:
- Malaysian Citizen
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as data science, artificial intelligence, or computer science. A PhD may be preferred.
- Strong skills in programming languages such as SQL and Python. Familiarity with R is an asset
- Knowledge in data engineering and MLOps is an asset
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor a team of data scientists
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead data science projects from ideation to implementation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex datasets and identify insights
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

- Staying up-to-date with the latest data science tools and techniques, and continuously learning and improve skills to stay at the forefront of the field
