IQA/FG Inspector - George Town, Malaysia - Boston Scientific

Description

Purpose Statement:
Under normal supervision of the area lead, performs moderately complex visual, electrical and mechanical inspections of BSC purchased materials and components for first article and routine inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Make acceptance or rejection decisions based on established procedures.

• Perform visual and dimensional measurements of purchased components using microscopes, Instron, micrometers, dial calipers, snap gages, optical measuring systems, comparator, CMM, oscilloscope, and other precision measurement equipment.

• Establish appropriate inspection setups using the equipment available with little if any assistance.

• Perform the Finish Goods Inspection (Pre and Post Product Release) and by using Checklist, SAP, Share point and E-Release.

• Review and recommend changes to existing inspection procedures and engineering specifications.

• Follows company safety policies and procedures while ensuring quality work.

• Completing all the task per the schedule and Procedure.

• Execute and completing the work assigned with instruction by Technician, QE and Manager.

Requirements:
Candidate needs to have own transport to work.
Able to work normal shift.
