    The role

    You will be responsible for running day-to-day operations for our HQ and local team and contributing to the growth of the regional accounting function. You will not only ensure timely preparation of our payable / receivable function across our entities. You will also help to drive the improvement of accounting best practices in all operating entities.

    Main responsibilities

    Accounts Payable

    • Perform accounts payable function related to inventory purchasing or vendor invoices
    • Record invoices accurately and timely in the accounting system
    • Prepare documents required for payments, preparation of payments to vendors
    • Assist in the preparation of GST quarterly
    • Timeliness and accuracy of monthly account closing on the assigned activity
    • Being a proactive partner to various internal departments and external business partners
    • Other ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time

    You should have / be

    • A passion for all things accounting and finance
    • A genuine interest in retailing and/or e-commerce
    • An ability to think & work strategically and systematically – continuously prioritizing key deliverables
    • Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to think out of the box with solutions that are scalable, sustainable and cost-efficient
    • A self-starter, proactive and hands-on approach
    • Strong project management, multitasking and execution abilities
    • Strong communication skills to inspire and influence internal stakeholders (HQ or Markets)

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Diploma/Degree in accountancy
    • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply (1-2 years of relevant experience is a plus)
    • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
    • Proficient in verbal and written Chinese is a must as we will need to process documents in Mandarin
    • Experience with SAP B1 or able to speak Cantonese is a plus as we will need to process documents in Mandarin
