- Responsibilities
- Responsible for all aspects of work relating to field sampling and laboratory analysis in accordance with standard operating procedures and safety practices
- Responsible in laboratory/factory instrument operability and accuracy
- Responsible in all chemicals used in laboratory/factory and identify the safety hazards in handling
- Responsible in developing testing method and procedure
- Responsible in training the laboratory technicians for all laboratory analysis
- Responsible in material handling to ensure compliance of statutory compliance
- Responsible in internal quality control
- To perform any other duties that may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time
- Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree/Master's Degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry, Forensic science, Physicochemistry or equivalent
- Registered Chemist with at least 2 year(s) of working experience in related field
- Show good analytical skill, able to communicate effectively
- Computer literate
- Knowledge of ISO procedures & documentation is an advantage
