A. Engineering Management
1. Manage and improve the entire engineering management, all manufacturing processes and operating policies to achieve highest standards of manufacturing performance for 3 SBU & medical unit in support and achieve of organizations vision & mission and financial figures.
2. Establish, drive and achieve the engineering KPIs based on budget figures & business directions.
3. Develop engineering staffs through effective communication, positive staff motivation & engagement to achieve higher productivity, efficiency and quality standards.
4. Coordinate, support and liaison with Corporate Services functions constantly in order to achieve efficiency and effective sales, financial and human resource planning and utilization.
5. Implement cost-effective manufacturing processes to reduce the WIP scrapped and achieve high quality of products.
6. To investigate the process and quality failure resulted from equipment/process related problem and provide permanent solution to fix them
7. Provide the rational statistical and quality engineering methods for evaluating the processes, equipment or system reliability, production process capability through Lean Six Sigma concept and provide continuous process improvement.
Medical Unit
8. Design and write engineering study protocol and execute the protocols which include data collection, analysis and provide recommendation if further improvement is required.
9. Ensure all engineering SOPs and documentation are compliance with OSHA, ISO 13485, GxP, FDA-US regulations. Ensure updated release documents are changed, reviewed and approved before implementation of validation and its must remain and operate in validated state.
10. Enforce a strict adherence to the quality and regulatory requirements which govern all engineering activities, relying on risk based methods, rational and data supported decision making and proper documentation.
11. Enforce & heavy focus on design change management implementation & validated state.
12. Develop of new medical manufacturing concepts from DQ, IQ, OQ to PQ and manages feasibility studies of the design to determine if capable of functioning as intended.
B. Financial & Cost Management
1. Prepare and justify departmental budget; and control and monitor all expenses to budgeted figures.
2. Manage, control and analyse the engineering cost based on Profit and Loss; and pre-set cost reduction target to align with organization directive
3. Ensure proper evaluation, review of design and cost of manufacturing of custom made equipment.
C. Resource Management
1. Ensure proper identification, effective utilize and adequate maintenance of machinery, equipment, M&E systems and other operations assets of company.
2. Provide leadership support, supervise, monitor, develop and motivate direct and indirect engineering staffs constantly to achieve high productivity and completed the tasks assigned on time.
3. Promote relationship with strategic vendors and suppliers to acquire new technologies in order to improve manufacturing process and reduce manufacturing cost.
D. Risk & Succession Management
1. Identify, analyse, develop and propose the appropriate measures and strategy to mitigate the business risk
2. Ensure that adequate resources and accurate/timely information is disseminate to management in order to contain and manage the excursion and business risk.
3. Recruit right employees, develop their knowledge, skills, and abilities, and prepare for advancement or promotion into ever more challenging roles in your organization.
E. Others
1. Participate in ad-hoc assignment assigned by superior or management
