    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    PREVENTIVE & CORRECTIVE MAINTENANCE

  • Manage and prepare a schedules for regular PMs to be conducted for RF and baseband systems
  • Complete schedules Preventive Maintenance is timely manner with constructive report which must include current condition, recommendation and spare management.
  • Handle and manage to corrective maintenance issues without prolonging the outage/issues
  • Complete CM according to agreed KPI's
  • Address and resolve operational issues which has potential impact to customer experience.
  • Liaise with vendors on addressing complex operational issues

    • TECHNICAL STANDARDS & QUALITY CONTROLS

  • To ensure that RF systems inclusive of both uplink and TVRO are operating at the recommended specification
  • To ensure that all transmission systems under responsibility are operating at recommended specification

    • SYSTEM INTEGRATION

  • Plan and manage projects requires system integration without impacting customer experience.
  • Liaise with technology counterpart in starting and completing projects undertaken by department in timely manner.

    • SYSTEM ENHANCEMENT

  • Constant reviewing on system upgrades to cope with changing requirements
  • Proposing system upgrades and enhancements.

    • DEPARTMENTAL OPERATIONAL COST CONTROL

  • Keeping the department expenses within the annual approved budget
  • Generating annual CAPEX and OPEX reports
  • Preparing annual CAPEX and OPEX forecast

    • STAFF MANAGEMENT & DEVELOPMENT

  • Create equal exposure opportunities for all staffs and develop staffs to be technically competent.
  • Motivate staff and improve staff efficiency.
  • Manage staff discipline and grievances

    • INFORMATION PROCESSING

  • Develop technical and administrative procedure and guidelines to improve daily operation of the department
  • Department report generation

    • REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized University/College
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications and other related software.
  • Good command in English (written & spoken) and able to write detailed technical reports
