- To build a consistent and sustainable Fixed Income Trading business
- To meet assigned yearly revenue targets
- To meet target set on each Financial Year.
- Communicate and update sales team on market dynamics, directions and views.
- To build team work and cultivate strong working relationship with all team members and Heads of other Departments within Group Financial Markets
- To undertake and complete assignments or projects assigned by direct superior, indirect superior and/or Group Chief Financial Markets Officer
- To provide necessary leadership and guidance to junior traders in the team
- To work closely with support partners in operational and regulatory matters
- To ensure that all trading activities are conducted in strict compliance to all assigned limits, and in compliance with all rules and internal processes, treasury manual and guidelines, and best market practices, both internal and external.
- To maintain the highest standard of integrity and professionalism in trading at all times
- To achieve a minimum of Pass rating in Fixed Income and Trading business audit review.
- To fulfill annual membership requirement of AICB Dual Membership with the required CPE/CPD points
- To keep Dealer's Error Rate for deal entry to below 5% on an annual basis defined as N/M,
- where N = total dealer error count in Financial Year, M = total of deal input by dealer in Financial Year
- Discipline, preferably in Finance, Accounting and Economics
- At least 5 - 8 years of relevant working experience in trading; Senior candidates (with 10 years of relevant experience) are encouraged to apply
- Must possess Dealer license issued by Persatuan Pasaran Kewangan Malaysia (PPKM)
- In-depth knowledge of foreign exchange and derivative products.
- Aware of the regulatory guidelines requirement and FEA for financial markets.
- Strong leadership quality
- Ability to analyze, focus and implement effective trading strategies to achieve budgeted profit
- Good knowledge of Treasury system and computer literate
- Position title will be moderated dependent on the relevant experiences
