Description

Ortustech (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is one the subsidiary of Toppan Inc ., Japan (Electronics Division). It involved in manufacturing Liquid Crystal Displays (LCD) and Head up Display for automotive industry.

The Role

You will be responsible for :

• Source suppliers and maintain listing in order to obtain best prices, timely suppliers and prompt service.
• Place Purchase Order with suppliers according to requirement quantity.
• Liaise with Stores and Production Planning Personnel regarding material requirements.
• Follow up with supplies to ensure prompt delivery of goods.
• Select product for purchase by testing, observing or examining items and estimate values according to knowledge of market price.
• Maintaining minimum inventory levels consistent with production schedule requirements and without incurring stock out condition. Arranging factory visit if necessary for new or current potential supplier/sub con.
• Maintain procurement records such as items or services purchase, costs, delivery, product quality or performance and inventories.
• Discuss defective or unacceptable goods or service with Quality Control personnel to deter mine source of trouble and take corrective action.

Ideal Profile

• Degree in Business Administration with minimum 2 years relevant working experiences.
• Possess strong leadership, organizing and analytical ability as an added advantages.
• Possess a purchasing and planning skills.
• Mathematic skills are needed to assure purchasing accuracy at all time.
• Negotiation skill is required to assure that parts purchased is at most competitive market price.
• Ability to speak and/write in Mandarin as the role requires candidates to liaise with oversea Mandarin speaking clients and suppliers as value added
• This position reporting to Head of Department (Production Control and Business Planning).
