Responsibilities:

Direct and manage assigned projects under the purview of Project Management Office
Guide and coach project team members in complying with the software delivery process in order to increase and exploit the positive risk of project success. Drive and manage internal resources as well as third party/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
Involve and responsible for the end-to-end project management life cycle (inclusive of project initiation, planning, execution, monitor & control and closing all the assigned projects with complete deliverables), software delivery and post implementation process
Provide information to the management on the project KPIs
Responsible for overall project management function, provide leadership, coordination and management of the PMO processes and functions by utilizing the support and assistance from project office
Ensure project management standards are followed by performing regular assessments of projects
Oversee and drive the improvement plan for project team members in term of competency on domain knowledge (formal and informal training)

Requirements:

Qualification: Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Software Engineering or equivalent. Possessing a valid PMP certification is an added advantage
Required skill(s): Knowledge in IT Project Management and Project Portfolio Management, CMMI methodology, advanced proficient in MS Office (especially in Word & Excel), in depth knowledge in MS Project applications & VISIO, experience in managing projects with value larger than RM10.0 million and experience in team building.
Key quality(s): Strong leadership, good communication and interpersonal skills, analytical and problem solving abilities, patient and detail in work, excellent report writing skills.
Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia
Desired experience/exposure: Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience with at least 5 years in managerial role managing software development project and implementing delivery process improvement based on PMBOK as a framework for project management process
