Bank Muamalat is a leading Islamic bank in Malaysia, established on 1 October 1999 and governed by the Islamic Financial Services Act 2013 (IFSA). The bank offers a wide range of services to both individuals and institutions, including deposit accounts, asset management, financing for automobiles, homes, and personal use, as well as corporate and investment banking services.

Bank Muamalat has a nationwide presence through its network of almost 68 branches and electronic channels such as i-Muamalat (internet banking) and e-Muamalat (ATMs, CDMs, and CDTs). The bank is a member of the DRB-HICOM Berhad Group, with 70% of its shares owned by the public listed company and the remaining stake held by Khazanah Nasional Berhad.

Bank Muamalat is also a member of Perbadanan Insurans Deposit Malaysia.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Deposit Sales Manager at Bank Muamalat located in Johore, Malaysia. The Deposit Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the sales and growth of deposit accounts, developing and implementing sales strategies, building and maintaining customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. The role also involves analyzing market trends, identifying potential business opportunities, and providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

Strong sales and negotiation skills
Experience in the banking industry, specifically in deposit sales with minimum of 3 years
Knowledge of Islamic banking principles and products
Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
Good understanding of market trends and competition
Ability to analyze data and make strategic recommendations
Effective communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software
