    Description
    • The Team Lead Maintenance is in charge of the Maintenance operations activities of the plant. Responsible for ensuring all equipment with higher plant reliability, lower in MBDT (Means Break Down Time), lower in frequency of breakdown so that to increase equipment up time and achieve higher OEE at > 85% level.
    • Actively participating as interface with senior management of company to develop short/long term maintenance organizational goals and objectives.

    Responsibilities:

    1) P&L Delivery:

    • Prepare the annual maintenance budget, and all expenses to be kept within the budget.
    • Manage, implement and control agreed company business plans, department and individual KPIs and targets.
    • Prepare monthly report of maintenance expenses and activities.

    2) People Management:

    • Attract, lead, coach, appraise and develop the maintenance team at the plant level, ensuring staffing, and stimulating talent management and retention, workforce & succession planning, training and team performance plan management through full reporting lines.

    3) Operational Excellence:

    • Leading the Maintenance team towards continuous improvement activities to enhance plant performance by process rationalization, resources optimization (including energy consumption), waste minimization (implement lean manufacturing concept).
    • Supporting group initiatives of value creation activities to enhance overall performance of maintenance operation.
    • Ensure high level of plant availability by implementing effective preventive and predictive maintenance of all plant equipment and facilities.
    • Develop long run Lean & Maintenance Excellence culture to ensure high plant operation efficiency with refer to group guidance and guidelines.
    • Provide input to develop the cluster strategy, as well as support the Manager Operations, Director Operations on operational matters requiring plant inputs/execution.

    5) Inventory Management:

    • Always ensure Spare parts availability, manage and control utilization of spare parts/inventory.
    • Accountable for spare parts inventory management and optimizing working capital by ensuring monthly stock reconciliation with plant finance and propose write off/back with the improvement action to resolve inventory discrepancies.

    6) Health & Safety:

    • Ensure compliance of all relevant Health and Safety requirements at plant level, with refer to group and legal guidelines.
    • Take accountabilities for all aspects of HSE in the maintenance department by managing the site leadership team to meet the requirements of the legal responsibility for HSE (comply fully with the terms of the permit to operate etc.)
    • Ensure proper documentation of all plant related activities including quality records and SOPs.
    • Represent the maintenance operations view at the plant level in cross-functional discussions.
    • Establish and maintain a positive community relationship.

    About you:

    Bachelor's level degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical), or other relevant field

    Multiple years of industry experience (minimum > 10 years)

    • in manufacturing, mineral industry, chemical industry

    Proven track record of P/L delivery (not a mandatory, added advantage)

    Local language of the country of base and main operations – proficient verbal & writing

    Other languages are an asset
