- Oversee the planning and construction of sets, ensuring that the design blueprint is accurately followed.
- Manage, source, and select props, furniture, and other elements to create the desired atmosphere and visual effect, within budget constraints without compromising creative integrity.
- Collaborate seamlessly with various departments and crew including the art department, costume, lighting, and props to ensure a unified implementation of set designs.
- Work closely with the production team to establish and manage budgets for set construction and decoration.
- Perform regular checks, make necessary adjustments, and ensure that the set is ready for action, reflecting their vision and serving the story effectively.
- 3-5 years of experience as a set designer, production designer, or a related role.
- Bachelor's degree in film, broadcasting, communications, or related field.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software , AutoCAD, Cinema 4D, or Adobe Photoshop.
- Strong creative and conceptual skills with an ability to translate ideas into visually compelling designs.
- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
