The Job

Your responsibilities will include:

• Escalating technical issues to the relevant parties when needed and following up till the issues are closed.
• Ensuring all standards and procedures are followed and maintained.
• Answering queries and resolving issues relating to the usage of standard applications and IT services.
• Providing monthly help desk reports.
• Providing technical support to the client related to applications and hardware (e.g., PCs, servers, databases).
• Monitoring tickets within the Service Desk Queues and ensuring tickets are attended to in a timely manner.
• Attending to queries that fall within the scope of the Service Desk.
• Collaborating with network services, software systems engineering, and/or application development in order to restore service and/or identify problems.
• Keeping up to date with changes in the IT systems of the client and industry.
• Providing remote installation of hardware, software, and application or upgrades on clients' systems where appropriate.
• Providing input to resolve end-user complaints and dissatisfaction issues.
• Maintaining good and constructive relationships with clients and ensuring client requirements are met within the agreed timescales.

The Profile

• You possess a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• You have at least 1 year experience, ideally within a Service Management or System Administrator role.
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• You are a strong networker & relationship builder
• You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
• You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
