- Design, develop, and maintain custom programs using object-oriented ABAP for the SAP systems.
- Work with internal business partner and digitalization specialists to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Write code that is maintainable, efficient, and scalable.
- Perform unit testing of programs before delivery to ensure quality.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of latest SAP technologies and best practices.
- Adhere to coding standards and guidelines set by BASF.
- Proactively identify coding improvements and make recommendations to the team.
- Collaborate with other DevOps team member and internal business partner.
- Provide support to end users during UAT and post-go-live
- Good programming skills in ABAP Object Oriented
- Advanced SQL knowledge
- Good written and spoken English language skills
- Experience with SAP development on native HANA are beneficial
- Experience with JAVA, Phyton, R are beneficial
- Experience with SAP UI5 / Fiori are beneficial
- Experience with the SCRUM / KANBAN is beneficial
- Experience with agile way of working or agile implementation approach
