    Job Summary:

    As the Catering Banquet Head/Captain, you'll lead our off-site catering team to deliver exceptional service at events, ensuring seamless operations, impeccable customer experience, and meticulous attention to detail.

    Job Responsibilities:

    1. Event Management and Setup:

    • Lead transportation of catering equipment, food, and beverages to off-site locations.
    • Supervise event space setup, including table arrangements and decor, aligning with event requirements.
    • Ensure comprehensive availability of necessary equipment and supplies.

    2. Food and Beverage Excellence:

    • Oversee food and beverage service, maintaining high standards and adherence to service protocols.
    • Foster a courteous and attentive service culture among the crew.
    • Accommodate guest requests and dietary needs while ensuring top-notch service delivery.
    • Monitor and replenish buffet and beverage stations as necessary.

    3. Elevated Customer Service:

    • Set the tone for exceptional client and guest interaction, embodying professionalism and warmth.
    • Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and adeptly.
    • Provide informative details about the menu and services, elevating the overall experience.
    • Anticipate and cater to guest needs, ensuring unparalleled service.

    4. Efficient Clean-Up and Equipment Management:

    • Supervise post-event cleanup, ensuring swift clearing of tables and event areas.
    • Organize and oversee packing of catering equipment and supplies for transport.
    • Maintain meticulous standards for off-site locations, leaving them as found or better.

    5. Compliance and Safety Stewardship:

    • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and health regulations.
    • Promptly report any issues or concerns to the catering supervisor.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 3 years of prior banquet service or catering experience, particularly in off-site event management.
    • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with acute attention to detail.
    • Physical prowess for lifting and transporting catering equipment and supplies.
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is advantageous.

    Working Conditions:

    • Requires travel to various off-site event locations and adaptability to diverse settings.
