- Prepare manual journals for monthly closing for MFRS 17 and identify area for improvement and simplify the process.
- Prepare monthly analytical review of financial results under MFRS 17.
- Assist in preparing the interim and annual financial statement and regulatory reporting related to MFRS 17.
- Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and/or other requirements or on an ad-hoc basis.
- Assist to attend or respond to enquiries/liaison with External Auditors, tax consultants, regulators and other statutory bodies
- Assist the team lead on any other Finance related matters, where applicable.
- A recognized Degree in Accounting or Professional Accountancy Qualification, with at least 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Computer literate with proficiency in MS Excel and SAP are added advantage.
- Able to work under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
- Analytical and good problem solving skills.
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
- A good team player who is keen to learn.
