    Description

    Job Function

    Lead the TERAS Procurement team to procure identified goods and services to support the Companyâs requirement.

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Leading the thought processes around procurement challenges, developing methodologies, models and best practices to leverage sourcing and procurement for their strategic advantage.
    • Plan, direct and control all activities relating to procurement, contract administration, schedules and vendor management ensuring that established standard and targets are met.
    • To examine the pre-qualification of Vendors and Service Providers so as to ensure that only capable vendors (financially, technically and their management skills) are selected to participate in the project or respective tenders.
    • Provide negotiation advice and contract reviews for vendors, including pricing benchmarks, discounting methodologies and best terms and conditions.
    • Interview and identify potential new vendors or suppliers in order to secure more cost-effective sources of products and services.
    • Engage face to face with all parties to resolve underlying sourcing/procurement related issues.
    • Preparation of management tender Strategy and Award Papers for Managementâs approval.
    • Ensuring all procurements especially relating to Purchase Orders, Appointment of Contractors and vendors complies with the procedures.
    • Develop and deliver procurement reports, bid proposal, requirement documentation and others related reports.

    Requirements :

    • Bachelorâs degree in business, finance, procurement, or related field.
    • At least 10-15 years of relevant experience in a functional role and at least 5-7 years in purchasing/contract management/finance role.
