    Description

    Our client, a renowned MNC Ad Agency and marketing leader since 1912, invites enthusiastic candidates for the Brand Director role. Established in 1965 to support global companies, their Malaysian office has excelled in talent, efficiency, and impactful work, consistently ranking among the top 5 agencies.

    Key Performance Objectives

    1. Client Engagement and Revenue Growth

    • Establish and maintain proactive communication with clients to foster strong relationships.
    • Lead and facilitate effective meetings to clearly understand client objectives.
    • Develop a thorough understanding of the client's business, competitors, and market dynamics.
    • Identify and cultivate opportunities for incremental revenue growth.

    2. Strategic Communication Development & Implementation

    • Spearhead the development of comprehensive campaign briefs, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
    • Recommend and oversee relevant research initiatives to inform strategic decisions.
    • Brief the Creative team on campaign objectives, ensuring clarity and alignment.
    • Collaborate with Media to develop and implement effective communication strategies.
    • Prepare compelling strategies for presenting creative work to clients, ensuring alignment with strategy and budget.


    3. Quality Assurance and Compliance

    • Ensure creative work adheres to advertising codes, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
    • Confirm alignment with corporate brand identity guidelines and media specifications.


    4. Financial Planning and Management

    • Prepare and monitor an annual financial plan, ensuring alignment with client goals.
    • Demonstrate a working knowledge of client contracts and provide necessary sign-offs for financial-related documents (ISRs, POs, production estimates, etc.).
    • Deliver accurate monthly budget/actual reconciliations for media and production.
    • Forecast monthly client billing accurately.
    • Record and maintain detailed hours on all tasks.


    5. Group and Team Management

    • Facilitate the effective trafficking of work within the team.
    • Ensure team members adhere to established processes and procedures.
    • Obtain all necessary sign-offs for project milestones.
    • Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment.


    6. People Management

    • Ensure team members have a clear understanding of their job requirements.
    • Establish and maintain Performance Agreements, conducting timely performance reviews.
    • Conduct regular team meetings to foster communication and alignment.


    Requirements

    1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in brand management.
    2. Diploma/Degree in Mass Communication/Advertising or equivalent.
    3. Significant previous agency experience.
    4. In-depth knowledge of all advertising processes and procedures.
    5. Thorough understanding of creative and planning concepts.
    6. Ability to evaluate creative work against strategic intent.
