    This Manager - Engineering role reports to: Director of Manufacturing (Supply Chain)

    What would be the responsibilities for this role?

  • Responsible for Facility, Security, Engineering and Utilities for the site
  • Responsible for Operation, Troubleshooting & Preventive Maintenance of critical utilities
  • Ensure Cost Control (Energy Saving); take initiatives to control costs related to Utilities and Engineering which is a significant part of Plant conversion cost
  • Leads PM program for the facility as per FP&R standard
  • Provide any Engineering and Utilities support for Supporting finishing, making operations
  • Driving standard FP&R practices in Engineering and Utilities area
  • Responsible for maintenance Primary and Secondary water treatment plant equipment
  • Responsible for driving improvements in the area like rain water harvesting, recycling of water, driving fuel and power related improvements to drive sustainable objectives
  • Responsible to maintain records and documents in Engineering and Utility area
  • Responsible for driving sustainability objectives in the focus factory
  • Responsible for raising eMOC prior to the execution of changes that affect the quality of the products
  • Supports during external audits at site.
  • Assists in maintenance and operations in the focus factory and maintaining facility expectations in the Focus Factory On time completion of projects within Budgeted cost Effective project planning Engaging partners at all stages of the project Effective tracking of cost & project timelines Ensuring Projects meet Quality, Safety, cost and service criteria Follow a structured organisational change process to achieve the desired results
  • Manage site CEB process Developing capital expenditure proposals Identifying capital investment requirements Contractor Management Monitor and track consistency to schedules and compliances Define scope of work and performance parameters. Ensure agreement on compliance to CP & regulatory norms Draft agreements Identify and select the right vendors and contractors Responsible for site house-keeping and maintenance of building assets Manage Integrated Facility Management (IFM) Contract. Ensure regulatory and social compliances to his area.
  • What does the ideal candidate profile look like?

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering related studies from a reputable university
  • Proven capabilities with minimum 15 years' experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in Consumer Goods or Pharmaceutical sectors
  • Strong fundamentals across facilities, project management, plant automation and digitisation
  • Strong leadership capabilities to lead a team of 5 headcounts
