    Description

    Main Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Group Head Legal and Legal Team to provide comprehensive legal support and administrative assistance.
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and proofreading legal documents, contracts, agreements, and other legal correspondence, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conduct legal research to provide insightful analysis and summaries on a wide range of legal matters relevant to the luxury fragrance, beauty, and lifestyle industry.
  • Support the management of data privacy, intellectual property matters, including trademark registrations, copyright protection, and infringement issues.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date records of legal documents, contracts, and agreements, ensuring easy retrieval and accessibility.
  • Assist in the preparation of legal reports, presentations, and materials for internal stakeholders and external parties as required.
  • Coordinate and communicate with external legal counsel, regulatory authorities, and governmental bodies, under the guidance of the Legal Team.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of legal training programs and initiatives to enhance legal awareness among company employees.
  • Support the resolution of legal disputes and litigation matters by assisting in document collection, information retrieval, and coordination with legal professionals.
  • Requirements

    Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in law or related field; Paralegal certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience (at least 5 years) as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or similar role, preferably within a corporate or legal environment.
  • Sound understanding of legal principles, contract law, intellectual property, and relevant regulations in the luxury goods and retail industry.
  • Proficiency in legal research methodologies and using legal databases.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and precision. Mandarin language proficiency is a huge plus, but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in using legal software and tools for document management and research.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Adaptability to evolving legal landscapes and willingness to learn and grow within the role.
  • Available for work-related travel to Singapore 4 times a year and up to 2 weeks each time.
  • Stakeholders:

    As a Paralegal, you will collaborate and engage with various stakeholders across the organization, including:

  • Legal Team: Work closely with the Group Head Legal and other team members to provide cohesive legal support and contribute to the achievement of departmental objectives.
  • Internal Departments: Interact with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Retail, and Online Markets to provide legal guidance, ensuring business activities align with legal requirements.
  • External Partners: Liaise with external legal counsel, regulatory bodies, and governmental authorities to facilitate legal compliance and handle regulatory matters effectively.
