    UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub 2) is a newly set up technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of UOB Group Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.

    About the Department

    The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.

    Job Responsibilities

    You will be responsible for the set up and maintaining of DevOps tools and delivery pipelines for Customer Management.

    This could be for projects, quarterly change requests, and L3 production fixes, supporting throughout the software development lifecycle, from analysis and design to development, implementation, testing and support.

    You will also be responsible for quality assurance of the team delivery in conformance to the Bank-defined software delivery methodology and tools.

    You will partner closely with the Customer Management leads to plan and manage transitioned deliverables.

    Other responsibilities include:

  • Supporting development team on pipeline jobs and tools configuration
  • Troubleshooting server or tool issues
  • Identifying ways to improve development pipeline with automation
  • Work closely with developers and tech leads to set up required CI/CD tools as per specifications
  • Ensuring proper access control and governance of CI/CD pipeline jobs
  • Setting up CI/CD pipeline as a centralized solution.
  • Designing and supporting CICD pipeline for containerized application.
  • Installing, configuring, integrating, upgrading and patching CI/CD toolset Extensive knowledge in service management/production support.
  • Comply to DevOps governance, Security standards and audit requirements
  • Contribute to improvement initiatives relating to methods, tools, people, architecture, project management and governance
  • Provide insight, measurement, accountability and a positive working environment
  • Driving and coaching Agile & DevOps practice adoption across application development domains
  • Automation of manual tasks for infrastructure deployments & configuration
  • Lead and motivate high performing teams
  • Job Requirements

  • At least 6 years' experience in release management or DevOps
  • Deep technical background, with hands-on experience in setting up DevOps pipeline, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonarqube, veracode
  • Ability to deploy solutions to multiple environments
  • Skillful in troubleshooting deployment issues and root cause analysis with wide knowledge in IT operation
  • Good experience in Groovy, unix/linux scripting, powershell, SQL
  • Strong analytical / problem solving / process design skills
  • Knowledge in basic Windows OS commands.
  • Good communication skills both written and oral in English
  • Knowledge of SQL and relational databases – traditional RDMS, such as SQL Server,Oracle DB, Unix/Linux Scripting and Java
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
  • Good to Have:

  • Exposure in using BMC Control M, Oracle Wallet, PPRC, Data Guard, Kafka, Zookepper, Spark, Jboss, Weblogic, Websphere, IBM MQ, Apache, HTTP, Kerberos, HDFS, Hbase Hive
