    Financial Analyst / Senior Financial Analyst

    About The Role

    The role holder played a key role in ensuring all AR and GL tasks were completed efficiently, accurately, and timely in accordance with defined SLAs / KPI targets and enabling the execution of high-quality services as a Global Business Services Organisation (BSO).

    What You'll Do

    AR-related

    • Responsible for AR & Non-AR receipting transaction.
    • Ensure daily receipting transaction is completed timely and accurately.
    • Resolve account discrepancies / unapplied cash / unknown incoming funds with Account / Country.
    • Support the Country in AR aging reporting and distribution.
    • Process transactions/requests in accordance with Company Policy and Service Level Agreement.
    • Timely response by providing solutions to internal customer queries.
    • Complete the monthly closing activities in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner.
    • Prepare bank and AR-related balance sheet reconciliation reports.
    • System UAT / testing for AR function.
    • Support in SOX and Audit.
    • Perform any ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities which the superior may assign from time to time.

    GL-related

    • Participate and execute month-end closing tasks which include journal preparation, calculation and posting for prepayment, accrual, provision, allocation, posting of payroll, intercompany confirmation, bank reconciliation, and fixed asset activities.
    • Point of escalation for end user month-end closing issues and coordinate month-end activities.
    • Ensure all activities (including metrics / SLA reporting) are executed timely, accurately, and with the required quality.
    • Ensure monthly reporting and performance commentaries into Corporate Consolidation System OneStream (OS)
    • Perform monthly/quarterly balance sheet account reconciliations completed in a timely manner and in accordance with the accounting policy.
    • Timely production of monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial reporting for the CBRE division.
    • Ensure stakeholder's queries are attended to and resolved in a timely, responsible, and proactive manner.
    • Provide support to the management team on month-end processes, accruals, monthly reporting, and performance commentaries.
    • Working collaboratively with other workstreams within SSC and stakeholders to ensure data accuracy is processed into the system.
    • Support and provide information for financial audit and tax audits.
    • Support the implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of effective internal control and processes including SOX.
    • Involve in process improvements and standardization of RTR activities to drive efficiency and effective processes to the CBRE division.
    • Facilitate and complete any ad hoc task assigned by the supervisor.

    What You'll Need

    • Degree in Accounting / professional qualifications will be an added advantage (CA, CPA, ACCA).
    • Possess knowledge of accounting principles and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) / US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (USGAAP) Accounting as well control frameworks such as SOX. Min 2-5 years of working experience in the relevant field.
    • Organized, Tactful, Dependable, Analytical & Meticulous.
    • Able to work independently with problem-solving skills and technical aptitude to build controls and identify errors.
    • A team player and able to promote teamwork among the team.
    • Computer literate, preferably with Excel spreadsheet knowledge.
    • Excellent business acumen and strong multi-tasking and prioritisation skills.
    • Proficient in English including Oral and Business Writing.
    • Experience with iScala and AX Dynamic would be an added advantage.
