Projects

• Regulatory reporting project is about implementation of all regulatory reports and submissions which includes understanding the data definition in the report, working with the data team to identify the data in the data lake, mapping the data accurately from data lake to the regulatory reporting system, testing the output and ensuring accuracy. Establishing a controlled change management process for regulatory reporting to ensure the regulatory reporting data dictionary & regulatory reporting system are updated for any change like launch of new products or any changes to the existing business. You will work with an appointed consultant who will help to define the data requirements as per regulatory requirements.
• New retail banking product launches: Digital bank has a roadmap to launch various new retail banking products like loans, insurance & investment distribution, products for SME segment etc. You will support the business project team to ensure end to end finance requirements are defined, implemented and tested before go live. The finance requirements are around providing financial accounting entries, mapping from source system / data lake to General Ledger system, financial reporting, regulatory & balance sheet reporting, management reporting and financial controls. You will work with entire finance team to provide the requirements and manage testing outcomes to ensure systematic & accurate implementation of finance requirements.
• You will support the Sr. Manager for Projects & Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) in implementation of the SOX reporting for GX Bank. You will work with group Grab Finance and Group GXS Bank finance who will provide consulting support for the implementation.
• There will be various finance projects or other projects requiring finance support which you will be involved to manage & implement from time to time as the GX Bank grows in terms of product offering and size.
  
  

The Must Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or professional qualifications ACCA/CPA/CA.
• Strong Excel & Tableau skills
• Financial accounting knowledge and exposure to ERP/Accounting systems.
• Experience in implementation or day to day management of regulatory reporting for a banking institution.
• Project management skills for a finance or other banking projects will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) will be an added advantage though not mandatory as you will learn with the group while implementing the same.
• Preferably with experience in the banking industry.
• More than 8 years of relevant experience
• Strong integrity and not afraid to raise concerns or highlight opportunities.
• Good interpersonal skills, with ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships both within and across business units
• Good communication skills, able to communicate clearly with senior business stakeholders and peers.
• Good time management skills, able to deliver quality work on time.
• Structured thought process and strong analytical ability
