    About the role

  • AMEA is a key region of growth for Barry Callebaut (BC) Group. You will be part of a function that is expanding and will be instrumental in supporting strong business growth.
  • The FP&A team acts as the analytical engine of the Finance organization in APAC. The team will perform analyses and provide relevant financial information, expertise, as well as insights to Finance Business Partners and the Management. The team is also responsible for partnering with the business and driving standardization of reporting packs and analytics across the region. In line with the business, the team is segmented into 4 main work streams Chocolate, Cocoa, OSCO (Operations & Supply Chain Organization), and Governance/SG&A control.
  • As a Senior FP&A analyst, you will support the team in becoming the one source of truth and analytical engine, consolidating results of the region, reviewing them and then providing relevant insights. While you will focus on 1 particular work stream (Chocolate), you will be assigned to work in other work streams as determined by the FP&A Manager.
  • This role gets guidance and support from the Head of FP&A on complex activities, ad hoc requests, and key issues in the execution of duties.
  • Key responsibilities include

  • Provide meaningful pacing trends for the region on a weekly/as-needed basis and consult with various Finance/Sales stakeholders to anticipate as well as address potential issues.
  • Take charge of the monthly consolidation and reporting of volume, costs and margins for Asia Pacific, including reconciliation of financials across systems.
  • Support the monthly preparation of the CFO reporting deck and provide insightful commentaries around sales volumes and margins.
  • Support planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities, as well as ad hoc financial analyses and finance projects.
  • Support the Chocolate work stream in providing first-level commentaries and insights to the Country Managing Directors and their Finance Business Partners
  • You will be provided guidance and expected to build up competencies across all 4 FP&A work streams, at the same time supporting projects to standardize analytics and develop new data visualization tools.
  • About you

  • Bachelor in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar.
  • With strong Excel knowledge, a test will be administered.
  • At least 10 years' work experience, preferably in finance.
  • Dashboard, data visualization (e.g. PowerBI) and programming experience will be a strong advantage.
  • Experience in an MNC/B2B/food industry is a plus.
  • English proficiency.
