    Job Description


    • As part of the M&A team, you will be responsible for driving and executing regional corporate development initiatives across portfolio companies

    This includes:
    o Develop the regional ICT strategy for StarHub, understanding the competitive ICT landscape in the region, mapping out the current capabilities across the portfolio companies, identifying opportunities in areas where StarHub can further exploit, identifying gaps in skill sets and suite of ICT offerings and developing partnerships with relevant companies to exploit these opportunities

    o Spearheading company's growth initiatives by leading the initiatives to expand its footprint across and potentially beyond the region.

    o Developing and executing programs to establish Starhub as a regional ICT player.

    Formulating plans to engage investors, partners and other stakeholders in order to solidify StarHub's position in the regional ICT market.

    o Identifying new business opportunities and product/service offerings – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services
    o Collaborating cross-functionally to determine integration and synergy goals/ priorities, project timelines and resources required;
    o Taking the lead in project managing strategic and synergistic programs to support StarHub's continuing transformation;
    o Driving integration planning by adhering to investment objectives, including aligning to prioritised synergies; and

    o Monitoring performance of acquired subsidiaries using pre-determined metrics to ensure that each project meets its targeted goal timely.



    • Ensure that systems, processes, team structure and incentive plans are in place to achieve intended synergies. Identify areas of improvement and propose solutions to ensure effective and smooth transition/ integration into the StarHub Group, including the appropriate structuring of the asset alongside StarHub Group's existing teams, capabilities, systems/ tools and processes
    • Identify and resolve any issue that may arise between entities
    • Have cross-functional communications with internal stakeholders to acquire latest information and leverage such data to develop contents for strategy
    Qualifications


    • Minimum 5 years of experience with several years in corporate development, M&A advisory and post-merger integration functions
    • Experience in managing company-wide/ team-wide integration and/or post-merger integration projects
    • Solid interpersonal skills to engage across departments and divisions and able to communicate and articulate points clearly and succinctly
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including probing, and listening skills and the ability to present complex data with clarity
    • Resourceful self-starter who is adept at various forms of communication, including meeting facilitation and preparation of presentation materials to report/track project progress
    • Highly detail-oriented and well organised in their work
    • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment across multiple projects, work proactively, independently and under pressure, and able to meet tight deadlines
    • Growth mindset, negotiation skills and strong team spirit
