    What You'll Do

    RTR Role

  • Ensure the preparation of month end management accounts for the entities in a timely and accurate manner
  • Control of the period end close for the entities ensuring compliance with agreed closing checklist
  • Provide explanation for significant & unusual variances between estimate & actual profit & loss figures on a monthly basis
  • Ensure all Balance Sheet accounts are reconciled in accordance with the timelines of the Blackline system
  • Liaison with internal and external auditors to ensure zero audit points
  • Gain knowledge on operational activities/issues facing the markets and how these impact results
  • Work with regional shared services leadership to build-out the RTR team to increase the depth and reach of activities performed in shared services
  • Provide oversight and input on ERP standardizations and initiative-specific technology enhancements to maximize productivity and further global standardization
  • Involved in continuous improvement activities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the RTR process
  • Responsible for the management of the month-end closing process, including posting of month end journals, preparation of inter-company cross charges, ensuring accurate, transparent and timely reporting for monthly, quarterly and yearly results.
  • Ensure accounting standards and policies are implemented and observed for both internal (US GAAP compliant) and external - local GAAP and fiscal reporting requirements.
  • Maintain and improve the control environment to ensure compliance with the Delegation of Authority, Sarbanes Oxley and other best practice control requirements.
  • Drive core control processes such as balance sheet reconciliations ensuring these are prepared timely, for all accounts and are reconciled to a high quality with all items understood.
  • To ensure clear communication of accounting issues identified and make sure these issues are tracked, resolved promptly and processes improved to prevent recurrence of the issue.
  • Manage audit process with both internal and external auditors ensuring statutory filings are made on time and accurately in liaison with Regional / Country Controllers.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives.
  • Support all new ERP & support systems implementations ensuring these are configured, tested and rolled out seamlessly without impact on control, timeliness or accuracy.
  • Drive management reporting and initiatives to improve / achieve targets set on key KPIs / Controllership Scorecard.
  • Support Adhoc Projects
  • MDM Role

  • Drive process standardization and harmonization of master data activities (financial, customer & vendor) with Global focus
  • Support Manager in establishing and implementing master data governance process documentation, standard reporting, volume metrics and key performance indicator (KPI) on critical activities
  • Ensure compliances to applicable policies, procedures, Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) controls and audit requirements
  • Support peer review / routine quality checking on master data and take appropriate actions on identified deviations
  • Support master data cleansing, continuous improvement, GSS transition and ERP integration (e.g. new business acquisitions and divestitures) projects
  • Support preparation / analysis / review of reports (include KPI reporting) in line with business and compliance need
  • Assist Manager to ensure objectives and targets are met, also to identify improvement and scope expansion opportunities
  • Ensure timely communication and resolution of queries
  • Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor
  • Specific knowledge in Master Data structure, attributes and impact of incorrect data on the end-to-end business process use (creation to use to inactivation)
