    Job Purpose

    Develop, implement, and maintain one regional T&L organization/network that will ensure competitive logistics and transport services to all business units in APAC and ME.
    Continuously work with all stakeholders and business entities to improve the efficiency of the organization, ensure best practice processes and tools, and maximize cost savings without compromising on safety and quality.
    Develop and manage the organization/network in compliance with the company's strategy, and objectives – especially ensuring alignment with Business Units (Subsea, Surface, REMS Manufacturing, NE) and Global Sourcing and Procurement (GSP) strategies.
    Ensure compliance to internal regulations and procedures as well as local, regional and international laws and regulations (in the countries where the work and operations take place).
    Be the single point of contact and accountable for logistics and transport services to Subsea Projects, Global Products, Subsea Services and Surface operations senior management in APAC and ME.

    Job Description

    Accountable for all logistics and transport activities in APAC & ME, more specifically:

  • Design, develop and implement a regional logistics and transport function as a shared service that supports all Business Units.
  • Guard the safety of employees and suppliers, especially the ones working physically with goods/vessels.
  • Develop a regional team that has the responsibility to ensure compliance to internal processes and local laws and regulations (e.g. due diligence process, qualification of suppliers, trade laws, etc.)
  • Motivate a "virtual" team, with team members located across different business centers and countries to be highly engaged in daily activities and improvement initiatives
  • Deliver cost efficient transport and agent services.
  • Deliver goods/equipment/system on time and with high quality.
  • Improve organizational efficiency.
  • Guide and develop direct reports to constantly improve their performance.
  • Lead employee development activity in the function and actively engage in top talents development.
  • Establish and follow up function cost center budget.
  • Lead digitization activity in APAC & ME in alignment with global function and OneERP.
  • You are meant for this job if:

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain/Logistics, Engineering or Business & Administration or relevant discipline, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in project, operations and/or supply chain/logistics/transport
  • Minimum 6 years working as a manager.
  • Excellent leadership skills with focus on communication, self- and team development, management of cultural diversity and stakeholder management.
  • Experience from the energy industry, preferable oil & gas.
  • Experience from digitization implementation and/or industry 4.0 knowledge and understanding.
  • Experience from managing virtual team(s) located across different locations/countries is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of subsea products, offshore operations (installations) and/or maintenance activities
  • Advanced analytical and strategical skills – being able to see the big picture in a complex environment and make sound business decisions.
