    AirAsia Xis seeking a dynamic Technical Services Engineer (Avionics)to be part of the best airline team in the sky

    Main responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for avionics issues under ATA chapter 22, 23, 24, 31, 33, 34, 45, 46 and 92.
  • Provide effective and efficient technical support to aircraft operations.
  • Prepare and issue the required technical documents in accordance with approved procedures and regulatory requirements. Perform fleet homogeneity studies for new/used aircraft.
  • Support aircraft induction
  • Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers, aviation authority or any reliable sources to facilitate analysis of engineering issues.
  • Evaluate continuing airworthiness data and provide sentencing recommendation to Modification Evaluation Meeting for approval.
  • Provide approved data for technical instruction such as inspection and modification which is not within the scope of any of manufacturer's manuals.
  • Manage and control Field Loadable Software list, Navigation Database uploading, Terrain Database uploading, airplane IPRAM uploading and Electrical Load Analysis (ELA) for all aircraft.
  • Ensure all technical documents issued meet the requirements of the department's approval system.
  • Assist Reliability section in conducting root cause analysis and provide remedies for excessive and abnormal wear, malfunctions or premature removals.
  • Undertake development study to improve aircraft dispatch reliability and provide recommendations as necessary.
  • Responsible to undertake the necessary corrective and preventive action resulting from compliance monitoring and audit program other relevant duty as assigned by the superior.
  • Qualification and Minimum Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor Degree in any relevant Engineering disciplines from recognized institutions, or
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience on Airbus aircraft preferred. Candidates with previous commitment in project management, or research and projects development, or participation in organizing community works will have an added advantage.
  • Excellent team player as well as capable of working independently.
  • Willingness to work ad hoc or at flexible timing to attend to aircraft defects and/or operational issues and requirements.
