    Operating globally, Pixl8 Group Ltd is seeking a Junior Digital Designer to join our team.

    The Role

    Pixl8 has a team of over 60 specialists in digital development, design, marketing strategy and project management. We are passionate about our work and looking for a Junior Digital Designer to work on a wide range of client projects, delivering the visual design of new sites, as well as being involved in the providing design support of our products and marketing materials.

    Ideally you will be familiar with a range of technologies including CMS, CRM, payments, accounting, event booking, email marketing and communities.

    As Junior Digital Designer you will report directly to the Creative Director.

    You will take ownership of each project assigned to you and ensure quality and consistency throughout the project life cycle. For this, you will need to be highly proactive with a meticulous eye for detail.

    Responsibilities

    • Initial client discovery meetings and workshops
    • Ideation
    • Development of wireframes for technically complex processes
    • Prototyping and iteration using Figma
    • Creating style guides, pattern libraries and UI visuals
    • Briefing front-end developers on expected behaviour and interaction of UI
    • Apply branding to templated designs
    • Liaise directly with internal departments advising on best practice and improvements
    • Participate in communications with clients to present ideas, gather feedback and ensure confidence
    • Deliver work required for internal projects (which may also include assistance for some printed materials)

    • Digital Agency background - 1 yr minimum
    • Experience working with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite Software (Photoshop, indesign and illustrator).
    • A good knowledge of UX principles
    • An understanding of HTML and CSS and experience working with front-end developers
    • Experience working with responsive layouts and established patterns
    • Good communication and presentation skills and the ability to confidently present your ideas and designs to clients
    • A strong portfolio that showcases creativity and a flexibility of style
